In 2019 I completed my studies in social sciences at Heinrich-Heine-Universität, Düsseldorf, where I developed a special regional interest in the Near and Middle East. As a result, I decided to join the Near and Middle Eastern studies program at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU), Munich. I am keen on learning new languages (specifically Hebrew and Arabic) and developing a deeper understanding of the region’s history. During my studies, I have developed a special interest in the life of the Jewish community during the process of Islamization and during the Genizah period.
