I am studying for a master’s degree at the Institute of Near and Middle Eastern Studies, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU), Munich. I focus mainly on the history and literature of Jews and Christians in the Levant and Egypt, with a particular emphasis on the various translations of the Bible into Arabic, Judeo-Arabic, and Syriac. I am also interested in Ottoman Turkish manuscripts, particularly Albertus Bobovius’s translation of the Bible.
