Dina Lombardi studied Bible, Jewish Philosophy, and Hebrew Literature at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, completing her BA  and earning her High School Education Degree for Hebrew Literature. She completed one year toward a Master’s degree in Theater at Tel Aviv University.

She has taught Hebrew language and literature across diverse educational contexts in Israel and Germany. Her teaching career began in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, where she taught Bible, Hebrew Literature, and Grammar at various high schools. She also taught Business Hebrew for corporate management and Hebrew for new immigrants and adult learners.

Since moving to Germany, she has been teaching Hebrew as a second language at the Sinai Jewish elementary School in Munich, and has served as a lecturer for Hebrew at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München—first at the department of Jewish History and Cultural Studies, and currently at the department of Near and Middle Eastern Studies, teaching both Bachelor and Master level courses.

As a published poet, her collection Lelaket Bifimot Lev (To Cull with Heart Strings) appeared in 1979, and her poems were featured in leading Israeli newspapers and journals throughout the early 1980s. She received the Keren-Lesifrut-Veleomanut (Fund for Literature and Art) award in 1979. More recently, she has exhibited Jewish-themed aquarelle paintings in Munich.
